ahatma Gandhi Road popularly called the MG Road,is the commercial high street of the city of Kochi city.Alongside the the MR Road is the many parallel lanes around it has several famous retail stores, hospitals, banks, hotels, jewelries, malls and multiplexes and so on.
The metro line runs above the MG Road. MG Road station is towards the north end, where the MG Road join the Banerji Road. Maharaja's College is the last stop on MG Road.
Both the Marain Drive ( Shanmugham Road) & MG Road are parallel, separated by less than a kilometer.
So, add MG Road to your itinerary, if shopping is one of your agenda of the the Kochi tour.
