Driving from Cochin

Ernakulam → Muvattupuzha → Kothamangalam → Adimali → Thokkupara → Anachal → (leave NH85) → Kunchithanny (take the left fork for Bison Valley Road) → Pottankadu → Tea Company → Camellia And Elettaria Resorts → Dream Catcher Plantation Resort

Take the NH85 to Munnar from Ernakulam. Drive towards Munnar. About 12km ahead of Munnar (on the Munnar bypass route), you'll pass the small town Anachal.

Ask for the Kunchithanny road diversion. Exit NH85 and take Kunchithanny road. This is a steep down road with a few hairpin bends. After 3km, you'll reach the Kunchithanny junction with a Y fork. On your left is a Federal Bank office, as the landmark. Take the left fork (the road going down) and cross the bridge.

This is the Bison Valley road. About 6km on this rad, you'll hit a junction where the 'Tea Company' road starts. Take the Tea company road ( narrower road). From here Dream Catcher Camellia And Elettaria Resorts is 2 km ahead. After about 1km turn right ( there's a sign board) towards Dream Catcher. On your right you'll see the entry to the twin resort Camellia And Elettaria Resorts. Drive ahead you'll see the uphill ramp to the Dream Catcher property's courtyard.

Driving from Bangalore

Bangalore → Munnar → 2nd Mile View point → Chithirapuram → (exit NH85) → Kunchithanny (take the left for Bison Valley Road) → Pottankadu → Tea Company → Camellia And Elettaria Resorts → Dream Catcher Plantation Resort

Most likely you'll be driving through the Udumalpet,Marayoor route to Munnar from Bangalore. If that's the case, drive through Munnar town towards Ernakulam (Cochin) on NH85. Take the Munnar Bypass road about 8km from Munnar. Drive through Chithirapuram.After about 4km, you'll hit Kunchithanny road junction. Leave the highway and turn left into Kunchithanny road. Further follow the direction mentioned the above road direction (detailed in the Cochin route).

Driving from Madurai & Theni

Madurai → Theni → Bodinayakanur → Poopara → (exit NH85) → Bison Valley → Tea Company → Camellia And Elettaria Resorts → Dream Catcher Plantation Resort

Take the NH85 road to Munnar. After Theni & Bodimettu you'll enter Kerala.After 10km from the border, you'll reach a main village junction called Poopara.Leave the highway and take the Bisonvalley road (10km). A few km ahead is the Tea Company junction. Take the tea company road. Follow the Dream Catcher sign boards at the junctions. From Tea Company junction Dream Catcher is at 2km

[#tailpiece] Mobile connectivity is erratic in some stretches after the leaving the highway. Load google map upfront. The area is sparsely populated - esp after the Tea Company junction. But you'll find local people to ask for directions, in case you've lost mobile connectivity. The resorts have installed signboards at main junctions from Kunchithanny.

Even though NH85 is a national highway, you can hardly drive faster than 40 or 50kmph. The road is curvy and with many hairpins in the western ghats section: Kothamangalam to Munnar & Bodinayakanur to Munnar.

Once you leave the NH85 for Kunchithanny route, the speed is generally 20 to 40kmph.
